I live in Charleston and have such a deep love for this beautiful city & the surrounding areas.

I’m so passionate about creativity and have a creative eye that propelled me into my love of photography. Capturing people’s lives is such an honor. Thank you for considering me!

I would describe my editing style as modern, and true-toned with a cinematic feel. I am obsessed with natural light and the glow of the sunshine. I love capturing both raw and posed moments. If you’re comfortable in front of a camera, that’s awesome; feel free to let me know and pose away! If you’re a little camera shy, or just want some creative direction, that’s great too! I love to help pose my clients to capture what you’re looking for.

Hi, I’m Faith Theisen, the face behind FaithyGrayPhoto! Get to know me outside of what I do:

The name “FaithyGrayPhoto” comes from my nickname through high-school & college “Faithy Gray”
My love for photography started early in high-school when my parents gave me my first camera, and it just felt right to keep the name, even after my maiden name changed. I married my husband in October of 2024 and we moved to Charleston - it’s been a long-time dream of mine to live here and I feel like I’m living out my dream taking photos of people in such a picturesque place! Outside of Photography, I have a background in corporate marketing, social media & content creation. I love design, art, and anything creative which is why photography is a perfect blend of everything I love!

I’m married to my best friend.
We have 2 sweet grey kitties, Milo & Mittens, and I love them with my whole heart. I grew up with dogs and also love dogs - I love when my clients bring their dogs to their sessions! (Someone pleaseeee bring your kitty to your session that would be a dream come true!)
I love the ocean and am an avid shell collector. I have art around my home that I made to display my growing shell collection!
I am a Christian and love Jesus. My faith is very important to me!
I believe God gave me my creativity & I hope to glorify Him through my business.
I love to travel and am obsessed with mountains.
The Sound of Music is my favorite movie & my dream is to travel to where it was filmed and frolic on the mountaintops.
I’m so into music and am always adding to my spotify playlists.
My favorite color is a light coastal blue!
My favorite place to shoot in Charleston is on the beach at golden hour!
